Where is neXus located?

neXus meets in the sanctuary of MYChurch.

 

When is neXus student ministries?

neXus is held on Wednesdays at 7:00PM.

You can bring your students to the church no earlier than 6:30PM. You can pick them up around 8:30PM.

 

Where does my student go on Sundays?

neXus meets on Wednesdays. Students often attend the 10:00AM service on Sundays.

 

How do I get my student involved?

Students really need two things to get involved: a connection point and consistency.

Wednesday nights are a great place for your student to be introduced to neXus student ministries. Second, students need consistency. Relationships take time and when a student’s attendance to service is hit and miss, it makes it much harder to develop strong relationships.

 

What are the most important events?

The best way for your students to get connected is to attend Wednesday night services. We have activities throughout the year to allow your child to connect to their friends. Other awesome events happen throughout the year that you will not want your students to miss:

• Winter Jam

• Acquire the Fire (Spring)

• Summer Camp/Missions Trip

• Other Service Projects

 

What adults help out with my kids?

Your child’s safety is our top priority. We only allow approved volunteer leaders to serve in leadership at MYChurch. Our volunteer leaders attend monthly training sessions and go through an extensive screening, background check, and application process. Our volunteers are excellent and truly feel called to help disciple your student. Your children are blessed by these adult leaders volunteering their time and are expected to show them respect at all times.
